Diary 30th September 2014
In the lesson with Dominique we performed in smaller groups and different people were given the job to observe someone and point out what they'll need to improve on and what you've done very well.
What I would need to work on is needing to understand the direction of each movement in the piece, which could include being flat at some point or dancing in diagonal. I got told that I would also need to have better leg extension for e.g. straightening my leg right out not leaving it floppy.

Today in Dominique's lesson we were paired up with another to group. So my duet was with Sonia and we got paired up with Cagla & Victoria and the Dominique's task was to perform both duet pieces at the same time. Which first I found really easy. Until Dominique stated that she wanted it to include Dynamic's, use of Space, Relationship, Synchronisation and great Timing. Now that is when I knew that the hard work begins. We got given a whole lesson to perfect our choreography, it was a big challenge because me and Sonia's choreography put together was quite short and Cagala & Victoria's was extremely long, we had to repeat or choreography twice and Cagala & Victoria had to dismiss some of their movements. Eventually we got it just right and we performed it in front of our class. The feedback we got given from everyone was... "Good focus and syncopation it was a lot better as before when they saw us practising earlier on. We had better relationship in the group as we included 'eye contact'. We had good posture and great energy.
